From the early years of the ministry we have been baptizing the new believers as a token of their complete repentance and acceptance to Christ & eternal life.

What began as an annual event is now gradually emerging into “ a monthly event”..putting a big smile on the face of the heavenly hosts who rejoice at each and every sinner’s rebirth.

Once baptism is over the members are planted in the church and enabled to grow deep roots in and through Christ.
The first batch of new believers’ baptism was given at a small ECI church in a village called Samalpatti in the year 2005
Since then almost every year we have been inducting newly saved souls through baptism and belief on the redemption of the cross and the Power of the Holy Spirit

Now by the sheer grace of God, Canaan Church is blessed with a Baptism Tank inside our church premise that gives us the privilege of conducting baptisms during our Sunday services. Many new believers have been baptized through evangelistic burden and prayers of canaan church.
