We do hold exclusive activities and events for kids in which kids from the church as well as the neighbourhood participate and get to know about the love of Christ and join in to sing gospel songs and recite verses. Once we had Mrs.Prabhu Solomon as the judge and special guest along with her daughter. we get to associate with 100 and odd kids from 3yrs to 15 yrs, 90% of them hailing from heathen backgrounds. Every year,during the VBS camp we get our neighbourhood heathen kids to gather @ Canaan and teach them English gospel songs, verses and bible stories. We also pray for their welfare and meet with their mothers who are mostly from impoverished backgrounds. We hope to change the entire atmosphere of Thomas Road slums by raising the next generation in the knowledge and ways of our Lord Jesus Christ.
